Write an entry in a make-believe diary
from a time in history.

Directions: Write an entry in a make-believe diary from a time in history.
  • Pretend you are a child in whatever era you choose.
  • Research and write about what is happening to you at that time, whether you are in a covered wagon rumbling west or you are riding in your very first car in 1900.
  • Collect artifacts that represent that time period and create your diary.
NOTE: This idea came from the creative teachers at St. Patrick's in San Diego.
